Home School Enrichment Mission Statement

The purpose of Home School Enrichment, Inc., is to provide encouragement and information to the Christian homeschool community through our magazine, website, and other products and services.

It is our belief that home education is more than simply one of many academic alternatives. It is a way for parents to pass their values, convictions, and Christian worldview on to their children. While we are firm believers in academic excellence, we also believe that developing character and virtue in children is one of the most important aspects of a good education and should not be neglected. It is our intention to provide articles, books, and other products and services that will help parents achieve this end.

The Bible states that parents are to teach their children at all times (Deut. 6:7). Learning, therefore, should be a way of life, not something that occurs only at certain times or in certain places. We will seek to promote, through our magazine and website, a lifestyle in which learning is a priority.

We realize that however worthwhile homeschooling may be, it can, at times, become difficult. It is our hope, therefore, that, through our efforts, homeschoolers everywhere will be inspired, uplifted, and encouraged to continue in their efforts to teach their children at home.
